The Shady Grove Spring Zing is both a 5K race and a 1-Mile walk.  An event enjoyed by experienced and non-experienced runners.  For more information about the race and the walk, please select from the links to your left.

The 5K race begins and ends at Shady Grove Elementary School on Skippack Pike in Blue Bell. Course travels scenic, rolling roads in Whitpain Township neighborhood.

The 1-Mile Walk takes place on school grounds. In case of severe weather, walk will be moved inside the school.

• T-Shirts, refreshments and race bags to all participants.

• Free entertainment including music, face painting and much more.

After the 1-Mile Walk and 5K Run are over, you will want to stay around and be part of the fun taking place in the gym.  As always, there will be a free food buffet.  This year we will be featuring fresh pasta from Maria's Pizza and Pasta and wraps from  Scoogi’s Restaurant.   We will also have bagels, pretzels, yogurt, fruit and drinks. There will also be entertainment.  Before the walk and run, DJ Mike Robertson(267-421-6870) will be spinning tunes outside.  In addition, we will have tattoos, face painting and other fun things for the kids.
